Automatic Enrollment: If you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits, or if you are at least eligible for them even if you do not actually collect them, you will qualify for automatic enrollment in Medicare Indiana Parts A and B. General Enrollment: If you have missed the Initial Enrollment Period [three months before you turn 65 till seven months after] you can apply for Medicare Indiana in the general enrollment period which lasts from 1st January to 31st March every year. However this becomes active on 1st July and you shall have to pay a late fine for Part B of Medicare Indiana.
